Your child can learn, be safe and have fun this school year!
Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama will provide multiple solutions as we face the COVID-19 pandemic and a shifting school landscape. Our programs are designed to ensure youth have the support they need to succeed this year no matter what challenges we face. Together, we can do this!
Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama provides scholarships based on evidence of need and availability of funds. We have two scholarships through our DHR Partnership. Club staff can provide more information about these programs.
In order to maintain safe social distancing and other recommended guidelines by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), we will be limiting the number of youth in our camps, checking temperatures at the door, providing gloves and masks and sanitizing Clubs after every activity.
Spots are limited in our program. These spots are on a first come, first serve basis. You may be given the opportunity to be put on our waiting list and as the State and CDC allows, we will increase enrollment.
Parents will receive our COVID-19 Safety Protocols and any updates as they are released.
You will be invited to attend parent meetings. Your Club Director will provide the dates. During these meetings, we will review your parent handbook and address any questions you may have.
Please put these dates on your calendar and plan to join us!
This calendar will include any special events, updates and reminders and will be provided by your Club Director.
We look forward to impacting our members' lives in a positive way as they gain the skills necessary to learn, grow, and succeed in life!
In service to youth,
