Your child can learn, be safe and have fun this summer!
Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama will provide a solution for summer learning loss—the loss of academic skills and knowledge over the course of summer break. Our program is designed to ensure youth in rising grades 1st-8th maintain and gain skills during the summer months, as well as have FUN!

HOURS: Full Day—7:45 am to 6 pm
Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama believes in providing youth a safe place where they have a deep sense of belonging. Based on their age at enrollment, your child will be assigned to an age group.
(If your child has a birthday in the summer, they will remain in their original group)
Dreamers: Ages 6-7
Believers: Ages 8-9
Achievers: Ages 10-12
Leaders: Ages 13–14
ENROLLMENT AND FEES:
$25 Membership Fee
$25 Weekly Summer Fee for each week you enroll your child
(includes a $5 non-refundable deposit per week)
Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama provides scholarships based on evidence of need and availability of funds. We have two scholarships through our DHR Partnership. Club staff can provide more information about these programs.

Academic Enrichment: 9:00am – Noon
Breakfast: 8:00 – 8:40 am
Lunch: 12:00 – 1:00 pm
Health, Life Skills, & Enrichment Activities: 1:00pm – 4 pm
Afternoon Snack: 4 – 4:30 pm
Enhancement Activities: 4:30 – 6 pm
In order to maintain safe social distancing and other recommended guidelines by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), we will be limiting the number of youth in our camps, checking temperatures at the door, providing gloves and masks and sanitizing Clubs after every activity.
Spots available on a first come, first serve basis.
Parents will receive our COVID-19 Safety Protocols and any updates throughout the summer.
Throughout the summer, you will be invited to attend parent meetings. Your Club Director will provide the dates. During these meetings, we will review your parent handbook and address any questions you may have. Please put these dates on your calendar and plan to join us!
At Parent Meetings, you will receive a summer calendar. On it, you will find our special events, updates and reminders. The calendar will also be posted at the front desk.
